While Warren has always had an interest in nature and photography, it wasn't until 2000 that he bought his first digital camera and that he began to seek and photograph native Vermont wildflowers. The first native flower which he photographed was the Canada Lily, which has become his logo. His goal is to photograph only native wildflowers in their natural settings.
Though he has no formal training in art or photography, he has read extensively on both. Digital media allows him to experiment until he achieves the exact look he seeks. He likes to uses macro photography to find unusual textures and perspectives not usually available to the human eye.
